Of course I do. I read the enclosed literature and then I read all about the medication online and from the developer. While any drug can have different effects on an individual, I watch for all the known reactions and any interactions with the other medication I take. If there is any unpleasant or unexpected side effect, I call the doctor and have that drug changed or the dosage modified. After all, I'm the one taking the drug and all the risks - not the doctor.

Firstly I take meds daily and Yes and know how it works because I looked up the side effects and good of my meds. I also know how it works. Doctors don't suck, sometimes you have to take things in your own hands. The doc says take this and that ask what its for and how long you have to take it...

Yes. I refuse to take them until I know how they work, what they do, contraindications, is there a generic, etc etc. Especially what foods and other medications interact with them or render them useless.

by all means some meds do not mix well together. i have found that my pharmacist has become my best friend.when starting a new med Always ask what side effects they have and what they are compatable with if you are on other prescription /non prescription meds

enough to know that i'm still alive.
sure sooner or later either the disease will kill me or the meds.. least the meds it will be a peaceful and painless death. which i'm bargaining for.
hopeing for big big BIG TIME.
i don't want to go the other way, i had my fill of that i'm opting for the meds.

I sure do, becuz I look them up before I take them. I get educated first. Doctors can SUCK, but some of them are OK.

i know a pretty good amount. i've studied their chemistry, to the best of my abilities. i know their histories. i like to pretend i'm a doctor.
