To worship God is to offer praise and thanksgiving to Him for who He is, for His grace and mercy, and for all He has done for you.
In your question, you stated it correctly - "try" to obey the commandments. We cannot keep them. You can't. I can't. Jesus said it wasn't by works, anyway, that we are saved.
Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: "
Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned - only received.
One must confess their sins. (1John 1:9)
Repent (turn from) their sins. (2Peter 3:9)
Believe that they are saved by the grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ.
In the book of James you'll find a passage stating that faith, without works, is dead. True. What this is eluding to is that we are saved, not BY works, but FOR works. Once you have a loving relationship with Christ you, naturally, want to tell others. That is the "great commission" eluded to in the parable found in Luke chapter 14:16-24.

To worship God is to love God. You MUST obey all 10 commandments and the teachings of Christ. Read Exodus 20 and the whole book of Mathew. All you need to know is in these 2 books. :)

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. -Mark 12:30
God requires your life...complete devotion. Worshipping God is putting Him above everything and everyone else in your life. It requires a relationship. Constantly seeking Him and his will for your life. We could never possibly do ENOUGH to worship God as we should. But with that said, do it with everything that is within you. Do it for his glorification, not your own. We worship God because He's worthy of the praise.

To worship God is to love him and do his will. Read the WHOLE bible to find out what his will is. He wants us to do more than obey his commandments. These are best found out by reading scripture and prayer.

First, knowledge of God and Jesus is required. (John 17:3) Accepting the sacrifice of Jesus' perfect human life on your behalf. Then, loving God and dedicating your life to doing his will. Next, loving others enough to share what you have learned in hopes of also saving their lives and giving them hope in this present life. All these things require a good heart. Lastly, endurance is necessary for Satan is on earth causing much trouble for those trying to do God's will.

A Christian will tell you that in order to be a true Christian you need to repent all of your sins to God/Jesus. You need to ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and fill you with the Holy Spirit -- surrendering your life and will to God to live in His service, bringing others to the Light.
However, in my *personal* practice (of Eclectic Paganism) I believe that my goal in life is to use my God-given talents in order to live in service of others. (and therefore God -- to be explained more later...) I believe that as creations of God, we all already contain the 'holy spirit'. I call it the 'divine spark' or 'god-nature'. I believe that I don't need to ASK for it because it's already there. I think that the act of asking for the Holy Spirit is more akin to an acknowledgement of the god-nature within us. In doing so we can no longer go about business as if we don't have responsibility to the well-being of the Earth and Her people. We understand that since we are all gods and goddesses in our own right that we need to take steps to be better people both for ourselves and to help others. Since we ALL contain this god-nature I am actually serving God by being in service of others.
"What you do to the least of these, you do also the Father." (New Testament.) It's all about the Golden Rule -- Do until others what you would have done unto you -- which in my spiritual path translates into: An Harm it None, Do What Ye Will.
Hope that helps! Blessings to You and I hope you find a spiritual path that is satisfying and enlightening for you!

Blood sacrifice. Your pets should do for today, but you're going to need increasingly more blood, so pretty soon you'll have to move up to medium sized mammals such as goats, pigs and sheep. To avoid animal cruelty laws stay away from cows and horses, it's just too messy. You need to find a nice hill with a rocky outcropping, and preferably use a silver or golden knife to slit their throats and hold them while they bleed to death, then leave the corpses to rot in the sun. Cry out to god your wishes at the crucial point when the animal's soul leaves it's body. You'll get the hang of it.

That is a dangerous question here. So many people have distorted views of scripture. I'm sorry if my answer is long, but you asked the most important question a person can ask and it needed an accurate answer. Read the scriptures and see for yourself.
The first time people asked what to do in the "Christian era" they were told: Acts 2:37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Every time the New Testament records people BECOMING CHRISTIANS they were told the same thing. The gospels record Jesus teaching JEWS LIVING UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES and not Christians. Christians were always told to be baptized.
Acts records the beginnings of the church. It says:
Ac 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized. About 3,000 people joined the believers that day.
Ac 8:12 But Philip preached the good news of God’s kingdom. He preached the name of Jesus Christ. So men and women believed and were baptized.
Ac 8:36 37As they traveled along the road, they came to some water. The official said, “Look! Here is water! Why shouldn’t I be baptized?” 38 He gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the official went down into the water. Philip baptized him.
Ac 9:18 Right away something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes. And he could see again. He got up and was baptized.
Ac 10:47 “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
Ac 16:15 She and her family were baptized. Then she invited us to her home. “Do you consider me a believer in the Lord?” she asked. “If you do, come and stay at my house.” She succeeded in getting us to go home with her.
Ac 16:33 At that hour of the night, the jailer took Paul and Silas and washed their wounds. Right away he and his whole family were baptized. (Yes, Acts 16:31 says "They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus. Then you and your family will be saved”" but the phrase "believe in the Lord Jesus" does not imply mere intellectual assent, but requires obedience. Jesus said that not everyone that called him "Lord" would enter God's kingdom, but those who obeyed God's instructions (Matt 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do what my Father in heaven wants will enter.)
Ac 18:8 Crispus was the synagogue ruler. He and his whole family came to believe in the Lord. Many others who lived in Corinth heard Paul. They too believed and were baptized.
Ac 19:3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. 4 Paul said, “John baptized people, calling them to turn away from their sins. He told them to believe in the one who was coming after him. Jesus is that one.” 5 After hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Ac 22:16 So what are you waiting for? Get up and call on his name. Be baptized. Have your sins washed away.’
We see in these passages that baptism wasn't an afterthought, but was done with urgency. "Immediately" and "at that hour of the night" (midnight Acts 16:25) are not indications of something to be done when it was convenient or next month, but something that was thought to be very important.
Paul in Romans 6:3 tells us "All of us were baptized into Christ Jesus. Don’t you know that we were baptized into his death?" "Baptized into Christ..." that is the way we get "into Christ." There we receive God's blessing "...blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." (Eph 1:3)
The answer hasn't changed, though many churches don't believe what Peter and Paul said, the best thing to do is follow scripture, not man's thoughts.

To worship God/Goddess is simply through love...love of Self, love of others...and demonstrate that part of Who You Are always & all ways.
God did not create the 10 Commandments--man did...just so you know...if He/She were to create such rules, it would nullify Their gift of free-will...show that They have expectations of you...bring about consequences for not following those rules...none of which would be God-being, it would be God-undoing...See the non-sense in the concept? God/Goddess requires nothing, expects nothing...They have everything...and as such, so do you...EEEHa!
