Well, I had the same problem (5'3, 155 lbs.), and people were making fun of me (even my mortal enemy, who I really despise called me turd face). My friend also has a weight problem, and my mortal enemy calls her twinkie. Even if people tease you, ignore it. You're not fat, let alone overweight. It's just something that happens. Now, to lose weight, eat less junk, and more good stuff. Also, exercise is good, too. Have you heard of DDR or ITG? Those two games, relaesed by Konami (who also made Yu-Gi-Oh) and Roxor, respectively, made those two dancing games. Those can help you lose weight, about 30 pounds in 5-7 weeks. But don't do it too often. People will call you a geek. Also, if you must, buy the home versions of the games. They're about $40 before taxes. Don't worry, it will all be better soon.

I am the same but I'm 51 and have 2 kids, and I've already lost 20 lbs. I think I look great right now! I have been diagnosed with Celiac and since I have cut out all grains and dairy the weight has just melted off. Don't let anyone else dissuade you from doing anything you want to do, and just ignore their stupid comments. They are insulting you just because they want to feel better about themselves anyway. A word of advice to you: follow what your body tells you, not what the food guide says. If something makes you gain weight quickly you could be allergic to it, and this is your body's way of telling you it doesn't like it. If you cut out that food the weight will come right off. There are many different food guides out there, and all they are are guides, they should not become a lifestyle unless perhaps you are following the Brazilian food guide which says whole foods first. It seems to the the exact opposite to the food guides of the West...Best of Luck To You!!😃

assuming you're female? You should weigh somewhere around 110-120 lbs depending on your build. Exercise is key, as well as eating properly. Ask your doctor to recommend a good nutritionist to give you a diet to follow. DO NOT TRY any fad diets because you'll only end up gaining more weight. If you do it sensibly, and change your eating habits, you WILL be successful. Remember, it takes time to lose weight, and losing more than 2 lbs per week is not realistic. Good luck to you.

Bones contribute only a portion of total body weight. At your height 165 lbs. is too much. You are somewhat obese. 45 lbs. is a good target weight loss for you.

Oi, you anonymous *****! Shut up! It's good that you wanna lose weight :) Don't go on these crappy diets that are around, cos they'll only make you ill. Make a point of doing at least 20-30 minutes of exercise a day, even if it's just walking to the shops. Go shopping with your friends :) just stop off at a salad bar instead of McDonald's or wherever. If you eat whilst watching TV, paint your nails or pamper yourself to stop yourself from snacking :)

Love you lots

xx

According to a body mass index chart, you are one and a half pounds overweight. The lowest weight, for your height, that is considered normal is 101 pounds.

I am not in a position to call yuo fat. If you are happy, which I think you are not, lose weight by exercise and careful diet.

Cut your calories to 800-1000 a day. And eat 5 little meals/snacks a day. You could stand to drop a few, but don't beat yourself up. Its whats on the inside that makes a person.
