The Catholic concept of "mortal sin" is not Biblical. The Bible explains there is only one unforgivable sin: unbelief (Matthew 12:31-32).

Fornication is a sin that can be forgiven only if the sinner is (or becomes) Born Again.

It would depend on one's religion and how it is observed by that individual. In most religion fornication between married couples is not a sin at all, but actually necessary for procreation. Various religions consider fornication between unmarried couples, adulterous affairs, etc. to be seriously mortal sins. Others consider it a forgivable sin if the guilty parties are contrite.

Sin is doing something contrary to one's human nature, often for a very selfish motive.I suppose you know what fornication really is!Mortal or venial, fornication is a sin because it is not how a creature would act in front of the Creator.

Depends on how you classify a mortal sin. Is it a sin, based on the 10 Commandments? Then no...

Is it a sin based on Jesus' teachings? Then no.

Is it a sin based on the decrees set out by various stuck-up religious figures interpreting the bible to meet their needs?

Then yeah.

Well, the Bible does say that if a man lusts after a woman he commits adultery in his heart. Fornication likely falls under that.
