They think it's cute that your mom takes you shopping......they probably think you're cute, too.
nNext time, approach one of them and say hi.....and that your mom has no sense of fashion, and could she maybe suggest a few things that are cool?
It would be a great ice breaker and get you talking to lots of girls. Besides, girls like it when you need their help (especially with fashion) and they like it when you care about their opinion.

they probably find it hott that you are so close with your mom. Some girls like boys who really have respect for their mothers because it also says how they will treat you.
