Said,
Thank you. The response I got from two earlier questions shows that almost all do accept terrorism. I will take note that you do not. I'm glad :)

It is part of the Islamic grand plan to dominate the world under an Islamic theocracy and the satanic oxymoron of "Holy" "War" is their means to their end, i.e. beheading, homicide bombings and the subjugation and abuse of women is their doctrine cloaked in the political correctness of the day Islam is about as synonymous with peace as Hitler was to being kosher!
It's a religion of hate, death murder and the grave devoid of love and kindness and mercy. Ever hear of any Muslim Mother Theresa's lately? I didn't think so.

Terrorism in NEVER part of Islam, NEVER part of Islamic teaching. Linking terrorism to Islam is a great mistake. A deeper study on Islam will reveal how peaceful this religion is. It can coexist harmoniously with other religions, for example, take a look at multi-racial and multi-religions Malaysia or even way back during the prophet Muhammad time. A true Muslim will not commit terrorism but just like anybody ese, they have the right to self defense and they have the right to claim their rights. The very word "Islam" means "Peace".....so Peace to All.

Most of them don't accept terrorism and many Islamic people have spoke/do speak against such a practice.
Just as there are many denominations of Christianity..there are different Islamic groups...it is just a one or two of those groups who are terrorists and the rest are very good people.

They as a whole do not accept it. I date a muslim man, and he will tell people over and over again that the koran does NOT teach this fighting. Don't generalize so much... don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. After all, alot of people overseas that have never been to the US thikn we all act like those on Jerry Springer! How awful is that? A bunch of trash with sex issues...

Al Qur'an 2:190:
"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors."
Al Qur'an 5:32:
"[...] if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder of for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people."
I think these two passages of the Holy Qur'an show clearly enough that killing another person is forbidden in Islam. Al Qur'an teaches that if someone does you harm, you may do an equal amount of harm to him, but to forgive him is always better.
Of course, for those of you who might come up with the argument, there are also passages in Al Qur'an which promote warfare. However these passages should be seen in the context of the period in which the Holy Qur'an was revealed. Muhammad SAW and his followers were a minority in the pagan Arabia of the 7th century, and they had many enemies who tried to kill the prophet in order to end this new religion. Al Qur'an gives guidelines for the muslims of that time on how to defend themselves effectively.
Although these passages exist in Al Qur'an, they are always accompanied by other passages which promote clemency and peace. Warfare is only allowed if the survival of the muslim community is at stake.
Finally I would like to clarify the meaning of the word "Jihad". The word "Jihad" means "effort" for or "dedication" to the cause of Allah SWT. According to Al Qur'an, "Jihad" in the sense of battle in arms is only allowed in defense of lives, or in extreme cases, to guarantee the continued existence of islam, like stated above. Battle against the enemies of islam is only allowed as long as there is no other alternative. As soon as the opponent is no longer aggressive or oppressive, islam obliges to get to a peace agreement.
Muhammad SAW defined two different forms of Jihad: a small Jihad and a big Jihad. The small Jihad is the battle against the external foe. It is inferior to the big Jihad, which is the battle against the internal foe, namely the selfishness of the ego.
Jihad is nowadays usually interpreted as a peaceful dedication to the good by most muslims, especially in the form of education and social or financial aid.

you cannot blame the whole community as a whole there are a few people or groups who are or might be involved in this kind of act and as far as ISLAM is concerned its a peaceful religion and gives strict orders not to promote or practice any kind of violence even domestic let alone global terrorism.Last but not least as it is written in the HOLY QURAN a muslim individual will take to viloence only if his pride, honor and self respect is at risk he will go to any extent to save that !!!
