My point was that I once asked this before and almost all the answers were the same: Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein etc....
So worng influence by the media against a WHOLE religion was my point ignoring all the famos GOOD muslims...(Or not giving them any importance compared to the other ones so I'm not called judgemental)

my best friends father, an old friend i had that moved to california, and 2 friends that i used to work with-they are all muslim. who cares? i can also name some agnostic friends, some christian friends...

Ziad -- a merchant I met in Jerusalem with whom I spent a couple of hours peacefully discussing religion.
Sy-- teaches at the local college. Have met him a few times.
my friend's mother, when she was visiting USA.
a young man I met many years ago who became upset to find I was a Baha'i. His cousin was also and he was upset about that, too!
Aisha, Ivy, others from other forums -- very intelligent women & good sources of info on Islam.
Historically, I remember mainly the Prophet Muhammad and Ali...
...all I can think of at the moment....have probably met others, but these are the ones I can remember because I talked to them.

What is your point? How about you name three Catholics you know? 3 Jews? 3 Buddhists? Etc. It shouldn't matter how many you know or don't know-one should be open-minded to understanding the religion.
Okay 3 Muslims: Muhammad, 4+ teachers I work with (whose names I don't need to mention here), family friends, etc.
FYI: I'm not Arab or Muslim or from a Muslim Country.
