Double Chocolate Brownie Recipe
This brownie recipe is made with chocolate and chocolate chips, along with pecans or walnuts, if you want.
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup corn syrup
2 eggs
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 cup all-purpose flour, sift before measuring
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, always an option

Directions for this brownie recipe.
Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and syrup and continue beating. Beat in eggs and cooled chocolate. Into a separate bowl, sift dry ingredients. Stir dry ingredients into the batter. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Spread brownie mixture into a greased and floured 9-inch square baking pan; bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut brownies into bars.

THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE:
1 and 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup softened unsalted butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 bag ghiradelli 60% cacao chocolate chips
1 four to six ounce bar of dark (~50-75%) chocolate, cut/crushed into very small chunks

preheat to 350
cream butter, add vanilla and sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg. Then add flour and baking soda (mix them together first) slowly and mix on low or with a wooden spoon. Add chocolate last (and pecans if you like them, but I prefer the cookie to be unadulterated with nuts).

Refrigerate for 30min-1 hour (or more)

Use an ice cream scoop and put on ungreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 10-14 minutes

THEY ARE SOOOOO GOOD!

for brownies you make them just like you normally would but ner the end you mix in some littlechopped up green chili peppers. i know it sounds gross but it adds a little bit of spiceyness to the sweetness of it
