What services work best...match, craigs, yahoo, specialized services?

I met my 'sweetie' thru Yahoo!Personals but I wouldn't recommend it (sorry yahoo). Unfortunately, you get what you pay for so, the more expensive services are way better. You go thru an interview and screening process (as everyone does) and there are real people working with you to help find the "right one".
So, I say find a specialized service in your area that has a interview/screening process, pay the expensive fee, go to the singles only mixers/events/outings and enjoy a more quality selection of available people. Peace!

Too many to count. I found the one that I want to be with forever and ever online four years ago. We met through Yahoo! Personals. I've used several others. He spent a huge chunk of change on a dating service. The $20/month one was the one that worked for us.

only 1...the very first online personal ad that i posted was in hotmail.com's online personal ads...several guys answered my ad, but it was only 1 guy that persistently wanted to talk to me (he was truly looking for that someone special as well)...before long, we were having long phone conversations and constant emails sent back and forth between us...then, we went out on a date about a month (give or take some) later...luckily, i didn't have a negative experience from this because i found my soulmate...we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in july...best of luck to you! :)
