not unless the lice helpfully remain on your head, and your head remains in the alcohol for about a day. go to the store and get an over the counter lice removal kit. walgreens, and such, have generic store brands that are the same as the name brands, and cheaper. ugh. lice. i just got the chills. yuk. no offense; i've had 'em, too. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER!

You will need Quell Shampoo or Nix..
something along that line. It is more redily available then pine tar soap which is the best to use. it doesn't distroy the hair and lice can't lay eggs on hair washed in pine tar soap...only place I know to get pine tar soap is in America's southern states and not all of them have it...
It also works great for fleas on pets.....
So your best bet is Nix

no - go to the drug store - there is stuff called NIX - ask pharmacy
