Because they don't realiz how stupid they sound. I'll listen to voicemail in the restroom, but I won't have a live intereactive conversation with a person when I'm in there.

Because people feel the universe as we know it may implode if they let their voicemail pick up just that one call....Seriously, I think people have an over-inflated sense of just how important they really are. We all survived just fine before cell phones. I'm sure that the caller would be fine for three minutes while you took care of business.

I actually think it's kind of funny. When there's a woman in the restroom and a toilet flushes, I would love to hear her explain the noise away.

ew...i would not want to be talking to someone when i hear toilets flushing in the background! i personally don't do this. one, the bathroom has the acoustic effect and causes my conversation to be louder then it really is. which means EVERYONE is listening. and second, i don't like to hang around the bathroom as a resting spot. (it's not glamourous) and thirdly, when you actually go while holding the cell, how do you wipe yourself, pull up your pants, and get out the door without switching hands, washing your hands, and still not let go of the phone?

women like to talk anywhere anytime anyhow.if it wasn't on the cell they'd be trying to to you, even if they never show you before, even if you were in the middle of taking care of some very personal business they will talk and ask questions so they want you to talk too, like"do you like this place or do you just come here because the guy your with likes it?' or "do i have lint on the back of my sweater?" and they also make unsolicited advise like"honey i tried that but it will just make your pantys ride-up."

I believe nothing will get them off the phone even if they have to use the restroom, they will just keep talking and talking. I personally wouldn't do that though. That person I was talking to on the phone would just to wait until I got done with my business.

Are you kidding?? People talk on cell phones endlessly wherever they are!! In the car, in the grocery store as they shop, at the beach, walking for exercise, and at the doctor's office. The cell phone companies must be making BILLIONS of dollars on these people who are addicted to talking forever on their cell phones. It now seems to be America's favorite pastime replacing even baseball and football!! UGH!!

Chow!!
