I am currently on a 175 grams of protein a day diet and I was wondering how long will it take me to gain 20lbs, of muscle, if I work out daily.

No one could answer this question accurately without knowing you weight, % of fat and such. Why the rush? Are you waiting to gain 20lbs to be in another category of competition? I would worry more about the efficiency of the training done in terms of repetitions, hours of training, frequency and such to get the best results. Most of all, try to have fun!

Whoa, don't work out daily, unless you're on steroids, etc. That will cause your muscles to start eating themselves.

Power lift 4 times a week. Make it your goal it be really sore the next day, but always take the next day off.

I take it that you weigh 175? It sounds like you're on the right track. Keep on stuffing your face, feeding those muscles and don't be afraid to carb up on workout days.

You will be able to gain the most muscle poundage in your biggest muscle groups, of course (quads, butt, chest, and back) so focus on those areas. Big lifts--dead lifts, squats, bench press, etc. should be your focus. Lift as heavy as you can, 2-3 reps per set, many sets. No more cardio, for the time being.
I assume you know all that, though.
