that depends on the officer. But if it's impounded you would go to your city or county pound to redeem the car and pay the fees

LOL!! I think this is hilarious!! You are a felon and on probation (who might I add broke probation to go on a cruise), your boyfriend is a hibitual offender with a suspended license, you have had child srevices to your house for an abuse allegation and now you are asking about an impounded car!! WOW you have some serious guts to continually come on here and tell the world your business!!

Okay seriously (now that I've had my laugh) in most cases you need to have the title to the car to prove ownership and pay a large fee to get your car back. If there is a lien on the car, the lien holder will more than likely be notified. Hey Linda, good luck with this.....

You have got to find out where the vehicle was impounded to and then you have to show proof you are the owner (title or registration). Once you get the OK you will have to pay the impound fees and for the wrecker. It is going to cost a pretty penny. Not to mention if there is also a ticket involved.

I t possible the police may impound it Not always the case though If it is impounded you will have to pay towing fees etc to get it back and also may get a ticket yourself for allowing an unlicensed person to drive it

I'd say don't let your BF drive the car. If he is a habitual offender, what if he gets caught doing something where the car can be confinsacted and NOT given back you?

Lets see, if you don't let him drive you won't have to worry about it now will you? But yes, if a car is impounded you do have to pay to get it back.

It might be impounded. Be careful because you can be charged for allowing him to drive. It might be better to pay the towing bill than go to the scene to pick it up.

If the police took it you ahve to call them. Then it depends on why they took it.
Unpaid tickets, you have to go take care of it and pay fines.
Towd then call station and get ahold of tow yard. again money.
If they took it for evidence you have to get permission from a judge to get it back or the police and then no money.

Find out who has the towing contract. Go to the place where they took your car. Pay to get it back.
