Believe it or not this is normal, you should go to the gym but try to work other areas of your body. It sounds that you may be trying to do to much start light with something you know you can do. Light weight-several reps is the way to go. The pain is most luckily your muscles healing when you lift your muscles expand causing tiny rips in the tissue the healing process is what cause the muscle to expand. You should not work the same muscle group two days in a row

This happened to me when I first started lifting. You probably lifted too much weight and/or had poor technique. You should get to a doctor right away; you may have torn ligaments in your elbows. Do not go to the gym tonight. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

Dude, you overdid. DO NOT go back to the gym until your arms are back to 100% normal range of motion. You'll do more damage if you try to lift now. In the future, one way to keep from injuring yourself is to "warm up" on each exercise by starting with a weight that's around 30% of what you normally train with, do one set, then do a second set with 60% of what you train with, then do the third set with your full weight. Good luck!

um... no. you overdid it. you should see a doctor, or talk to your trainer, if you have one. if the trainer says to work through it s/he's an idiot. take it easy.
