I am trying to gather ideas so I can make a desision and start planning for next march (spring break, yes I like to plan ahead) It would just be me and my 7 year old son (he will be two months from being 8 at time of vacation) Last spring break we went to disney world. So I need fresh ideas

Glenwood Springs Colorado! Natural pools with warm to hot spring water...I used to go there as a kid and loved it! http://www.hotspringspool.com/ OR google to "glenwood springs colorado". Stay at a motel other that at the lodge...much better deals!

What about an outdoorsy kind of vacation? Have you thought about Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons or South Dakota? I am not sure where you live, but all of these places offer beauty and landmarks like Old Faithful geyser and Mt. Rushmore. I have fond memories of visiting these as a child. :) Good luck!
