A logical paradox. I'll bet no one has a good answer. I know I don't.

If Hell wouldn't exist, there wouldn't be a heaven neither. Where would everyone go after death? I don't think they'd linger around here forever. As for God's love, think of God being the lights in your house at night. If they're turned off, the light isn't present and everything would be dark. But that doesn't mean because it's dark, the lamps and lights aren't there. Meaning He's everywhere but someone has to want His love. Hell's just where there's no "ON" switch.
P.S. - The devil battles so the lights never turn on in Hell.

Don't believe everything you hear about a so called place called hell. Read the book for yourself and discover the truth.
Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death
There is no hell where some or many live for ever in torment. The evil will be burned up, to live no more. Second death.
You do need to began to study the bible for your self and stop believing the crap that others bring to the table. Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see.
Do you grasp it? The wicked will be burned up, ashes under the soles of feet?
If you are really looking for the truth, perhaps I may give to you some truth from the bible so that you can read it for yourself.

I am not interested in debating. Just allow you to read and deside.
Good Luck.

1 John 1:5
"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all."
Hell is eternal blackness of darkness. God turns His back on those in Hell.

Some believe hell is not a place, but ceasing to exist/be completely. That doesn't not provide a reality for God to be present or absent.

Ha Ha Ha. The love in hell is the love of acting out evils and the love of evil itself.
Good luck with your friends. It is up to you. The heavenly kind of friends or the hellish kind of friends.
