You probably could get a credit card as they through them at everyone but if you are already having money problems, do you think it is a good idea to add to them by taking on more credit? Why not try to sort your finances out? Go to the citizens advice and they can help you to come to an arrangement with your creditors to pay of what you owe at a more affordable amount. Good luck x

Hey Robert,
Yes there are credit cards out there specifically designed for people with bad credit. These credit cards help you rebuild your credit. The top card for this is the Orhcard Bank Mastercard. Here is a link of an example of it.

I hope this helps!

You can always get a credit card, it might only have $20 limit and a 99.9% rate but if you put it in credit buy $1000 , you will have a $1020 of spending power and would never have to pay more than $20 interest !

Captial One offers a secured credit card to people with bad credit. It's the kind where you send them money, say $500.00 as a deposit, and they give you a card with a $500.00 limit. If you want a higher limit in the future you can send them more money and they will raise the credit limit to the new amount.
You get a credit card and they get security.
Everybody's happy.

Capital One are good for bad credit ratings they give you a card to try and get your rating back up as long as you pay at least the minimum payment each month.

If you just need a card like mastercard to use online but don't need credit as in you can put the money to pay for items you could try the prepaid mastercard all you do is put the money in and it can be used just like a mastercard no credit check is needed ,if you need the credit its gonna be hard finding one but probably capital one is your best bet but interest will be high.
if you are interested in the prepaid find more info at http://www.mycashplus.co.uk

you can get a 'pay as you go' mastercard called Cash Plus.
It's exactly the same as a mastercard except that it's prepaid. You can put small amounts on it from about £10. It's useful if you don't like credit cards but need one for i.d, hotels etc. Visa do one as well.

Are you sure you want to get one? With a bad history, it suggests you might get yourself into more strife somewhere down the line. Still, there's bound to be some company who'll give you one - credit card companies'll give you just enough rope to hang yourself.

all credit cards are owned by the 4 big banks in the UK, and they make money by helping you to get into dept. so if you are over 18 you should get one if you are employed and and salary of min of £15.000 a year, they will love you, as they no with in 8 months you will be in trouble. if possible don't get one,
