It really doesn't matter whether she is prettier than you or not. That's really out of your control. The truth is that physical beauty is only "skin deep" and isn't enough to make someone attractive over a long period of time.
Looking your best is good, but you need to work on building the kind of character qualities that quality guys will find attractive: things like honesty, kindness, compassion, a sense of humor, etc. What are the qualities you want in a guy? Develop those in yourself through practice and hard work.
And note this--it's not an attractive quality to compare your appearance to someone else--whether you think you win in the comparison or not.

honey- u should not ever think that ur sister is prettier than u- it is all up in that pretty lil head of urs. i'm sure u are every bit as pretty as ur sister and if ppl say u look alike, u must be! u should stop thinkin so lowly of urself and start feeling more confident in da way u look. and if u don't believe urself that u r gorgeous, how can u expect other ppl to do so?

It's a lot more than just looks that makes a girl attractive. There is also attitude. Maybe you're more fun than your sister. Maybe your sister is a little sexier than you. I personally love darker skinned women, but I know that it's all about personal preferences.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so youll find a guy that thinks that you re prettier than your sister. Same happened to my gf and her cousin. My gf thinks her cousin is very pretty cause guys are frequently chasing her. I think my gf is prettier. probably her cousin is just slutty...

i think you are pretty also and i also think it is such a clishe' that light skinned people are prettier, there are a lot of brownskinned beauty queens that modeled for years. i think it is a shame that we try to compare ourselves to other people ...why can;t we accept the fact that we all have some beauty???

For us brownskin is synonymous with beauty ..its only your own impression of yourself. --- who knows when your sis looks at you, she also think you're prettier than her...Of course==its all in your mind ...

I think you should accept yourself as you are, as God made you. And start by asking your sister for some beauty tips! She would love to help you out! If we all looked them same, life would be so boring, honey. Learn to use what you have as an asset and "act" pretty!

the beauty is not in the light or brown skin! if ur skin is not light it doesn't mean that u are not pretty!maybe were u light skinned u wouldn't look so cool as u look now! brown skin is sexy- it looks like sunburn!dont think that u are ugly! u have ur own beaty! everybody has it there own!

dear sam, good people r knwn by their heart not from face,skin colour so dont ever think u r not prettier, u r prettier thn u r sis by heart bcoz u know her feeling, wht she wnts, whts she doing, whts she wnt to do, but i thnk ur dsnt hve this type of heart u observe people by seeing them but pls judge them by hw they look. judge by how they react with other people,how they handle any type of situation etc. there is more things to find out prettier heart people but dont think that face n skin is identify any person identity. remove this all things from ur mind n take fresh breath in beautiful world observe each n every movments share with every one bcoz if u share ur problem with any frnd thn thats reduce ur strain and if u share happy movments thats gain ur happyness. by take care.dnt worry we all r with u.thnx.
