Please do not state any sexual actions. I'm a bit (not too much) on the conservative side.

I sympathize. It's a difficult situation. You don't want to torpedo the friendship but it might be great to take it to the next level.

How 'bout this. "Have you ever thought that we would make a good couple?" It's clear and obvious, but not too aggressive and if he says no, you can back away easily.

Good luck to you!

Be open and honest with him about how you feel....it's not like you're asking him to marry you or anything. Either he'll agree that the feeling is mutual, or tell you he's only interested in having you as a friend. You can't go wrong either way, you'll still have a friend regardless.

Try flirting with him or smiling at him occassionally. You could just tell him, since you are conservative you should be bold. You are probably a great girl and he will most likely be interested in you too.

Just tell him flat out that you really like him, and that you're glad the two of you have become such great friends. If he has any balls at all, he'll take the hint and ask you out.
