Just click on the filename and do it. It will serve no purpose because the format of the file is still Word and not PDF. Download OpenOffice.com. It is free and has about the same capabilities as Office and it will create PDF files directly from the word processor.

If you are using a Mac, all you have to do is go to File --> Print. From the print dialogue window, select the button at the bottom, "Print PDF" and you can save the pdf file wherever you want. This works for most programs, not just microsoft word.

Rename the file but will not convert a .doc file into a .pdf file. Use something Adobe Acrobat.

you need to use PDF converter.

you have to actually convert the document into a pdf......you need adobe acrobat in order to do that......
