It is not our job to decide what happens to them. It is God's alone.
But I will say this- God loves all his creations, like a parent loves their children.

How do you know that God (for you believers) really cares about human beings?
Imagine this. You’ve just bought a new home which you furnish with all sorts of nice fittings and fixtures, then prepare the grounds and garden. You plant a wide range of trees, shrubs, flowers, plants and vegetables. You clip and prune as time goes on, spray the weeds, and generally keep your property in good shape.
Many years pass and your gardens are flourishing, not a weed to be seen anywhere. You head off on holiday, a weed pops up and bugs start to crawl all over it. Not to worry, when you return home you spray the gardens, killing all the bugs and weeds. Everything is back to normal.
Now consider the universe. After billions of years a little planet (weed) called Earth pops up and it’s crawling with bugs called humans. Do you really think the gardener (or creator) really cares about the bugs and weeds? Do you think the gardener cares if he destroys you? Do you think that the bugs (humans) on the weed (Earth) have any idea what’s going on in the rest of garden (universe)? What happens to all human beings is just the same as what happens to all bugs and weeds.

All gods creatures go to heaven no matter how small or insignificant. And all children are welcome to god (suffer the little children to come unto me) God gave man the free will to choose between heaven and hell. Animals and young children (under 7 according to catholics??) automatically go to heaven.
Its said that god forgives all sinners, whether that is true I guess I wont know till I get to heaven, ( I hope if I meet my rapist there, he looks so different I dont recognise him!)

Everybody, good or bad, young or old, go to the same place.
6 feet under ....the grave.
Ecclesiastes 3:19,20
That's not the end of matters, but it is the short term eventuality of everyone.

All our answers are like the fish trying to describe the ocean in which he lives. He will see its vastness only when he is able to rise above the water surface. Likewise, we are bound by the laws of existence, like gravity, action-reaction etc. When we have transcended them, we will know the truth. But we wont be able to utter it-for it is beyond words.

Real simple. Accept Jesus, go to Heaven, refuse, go to Hell. Not a difficult equation.
