If my children did I would probably be happy that they found something they could believe in. Real Islam is a beautiful religion, not filled with the hatred and anger that we see because extremist have managed to make Islam into what they want it to be. So I would definitely not have a problem if my child came to believe and have faith in Islam. I would have a problem with him becoming a radical extremist, but I would have just as much of a problem if he became an extreme Christian or Jew too. Extremist have a way of ******** up good things and making them look horrible. Any kind of extremist and kind of religion.

As for my great grandchildren, I can only hope I'll be around to see as then I will know that by anthropological demands, I had done my job to ensure the survival of the human race. Also wouldn't give two sh!ts about what religion he/she chose to believe in as long as their head was on straight and they weren't too extreme about it.

I think I would be upset in a way only because of the persecution that follows these people. I dont like the fact that the women stay covered under veils and clothes no matter what the weather outside while the men can walk around in comfort. It is so disheartening to see a woman covered from head to toe walking behind her husband like some dog following its master. I would hope that my kids or grandkids wouldnt do that but if they did-I would love them no matter what they chose.

Love Them unconditionally, Pray for them, Council with them concerning God's word and hope they see the light.

PS: Just want to add that if we truly believe in the word of God we would also have to trust what he said. The bible says to bring up a child in the way it should go and when it is old it will not depart from it. So children may experiment with other religions, but if you have truly been a light to them they will come back home.

I would both accept them for their choices and support what they wanted to do (as long as it would not hurt them or anyone else!)... THIS is the key to being the best parent, grandparent possible. You see there are alot of people who are not supportive, and this causes a lot of crazies out there later in life.

Nothing. What can you do? If you are Christian, you should witness to them. If you are an atheist, you should convince them why there is no God. Otherwise, you will have to let them make their own decisions regarding their religious affiliation. The best thing you can do is love them regardless.

well,I don't have children or grandchildren yet.but if I had and if they chose to become muslims,I'll have to accept that.coz it's their lives not mine and I can't control that.so,I guess I wouldn't do anything about it cuz it's just a religion not an identity.I mean it's not gonna change who they are. They'll always be your children and you'll always be their mom no matter what their beliefs were.

well sounds to me like u have something against that...but even if they did convert you are supposed to respect them and their wishes...just because they convert to Islam doesn't make them any different people...Islam is a good religion which many people don't know because they are too busy listening to media lie about it...so if they converted to become Muslims you should respect them and their new religion.
