My nose cracks sometimes if I push it up or move it to the the side too much, could it be serious?

It also hurts to touch sometimes and some days it is hard to breathe through my nose it almost feels like I am congested but i am not.

should definitely see a doctor. try calling up your doctor, and ask if this is an emergency situation.. meanwhile, if you have had surgery or injury there before... it might be the reason. maybe you broke something there... but if it hurts, it should be something of a concern....

good luck!

He is obviously damaged by his past and the only way he will change is if he gets help himself. You will never be able to change him so don't try, that would just make things worse. Try to calm yourself around him & try not to do argue with him, let him be miserable by himself, he is not worth your energy. This is really serious, you have to leave him to save your life. One little blow to your head could cause serious damage or even kill you! I know it's hard to leave someone that you have been with for a while mostly because that relationship is your comfort zone. You are just use to it all by now. I have been in horrible relationships feeling like there is no hope but there is always hope and always a better place when you are in a bad one. The only way your life will be any better than what it is right now is if you take yourself out of that horrible relationship. It's hard when someone is beating your spirit down so bad that you feel helpless but you have to find the strength within...it's there because you are reaching out to others, keep reaching out if you have to. You are only 20,you have happy, beautiful life awaiting you but only you can take that first step to get there. Leaving him will not be easy..but you never find yourself until you face the truth:)

It is totally normal, I am An RN who worked in ENT. You are experiencing the cartilage moving slightly and it has no effect on your nose. It just makes a slight crunch pop sound. Perfectly normal, case closed in this blog.

every answer on here so far is ridiculous.
I've been doing the EXACT SAME THING to my nose for over 15 YEARS.
It is not a problem.
Some people can crack their toes... some people can crack their nose.
Get over it.

Looks like your cartilage is a little too flexible. But, I am not an expert... feel free to ask an ENT specialist.

This is something you should be asking a doctor. I dont think anyone here is able to tell you the seriousness of your condition. It is best for you to seek medical attention.

that could be cartilage in your nose cracking. If it is then you need to give it time to heal. That means avoiding touching your nose. If it is cartilage then it will heal if it is given the time.

It COULD become serious if you don't stop 'pushing it up' or 'moving it to the side'!!

Everything you're describing is not normal. See a doctor.
