My only question is why are you on birth control when you have your tubes tied? If you just started the birth control three months ago it might be the birth control that is throwing off your cycle. I would find it hard to believe that you could get pregnant with your tubes being tied and being on birth control. It is most likely yout hormones are just ut of wack because of starting up birthcontrol again.

They say that the only safe sex is no sex, but i am guessing that you are about the safest person on the planet. You had your tubes tied and you are on the pill?
Maybe this was never explained to you but when you have your tubes tied you are cutting the tubes and then tying them together. This then stops the egg from travelling anywhere. You will still get your period because your body doesn't know that an egg isn't coming. Didn't your doctor explain this to you? There is no need to be on the pill for birth control reasons. Maybe some other medical reason. Did the same doctor that tied your tubes put on you birth control?

I have had my tubes tied for 6 years in December and am also on birth control. People don't seem to realize that birth control is taken for many medical reasons, not just birth control, which is why women like myself who have their tubes tied, continue to take BC. Now that that is cleared up, 13/1000 women will get pregnant 5 years after having a tubal. That's 1.3%. With typical use, birth control pills have a failure rate of 8% per year. That means, of women who have had tubals and use birth control, 8% of those 1.3% will get pregnant. .1% = 1/1000 women. That's actually higher than you would think and, given that up to 70% of pregnancies after tubals are ectopic, if you really think you might be pregnant, you should see a dr. 1/1000 is unlikely but isn't impossible.

Yes, you can become pregnant after having you tubes tied. If the come undone, or are not tied properly.
My aunt had her tubes tied in 1997 and she had a baby girl in 1998. You should consult your doctor. if you are having doubts about how well your tubes were tied.

Mighty unlikely, but anything's possible. Buy a test kit.
What made you decide to start using birth control after six years?

Yes, it is possible, though very unlikely. If you have sex, you can get pregnant. It is that simple.
