agree. there's loads of ceramic hob polish available. Check with any shop that sells hobs and it's probably available in tesco or wherever you shop.

Using a Scotchbrite erasing pad gently rub the area, full instructions on pad, and you can purchase ceramic Touch-up paint specifically for hobs

The only thing I know of is ceramic hob cream cleaner.I think its made by Jiff and it is very good.
