First thing to do is have a blood test to check for Iron levels. Low iron can be an indicator of poor clotting (also, you feel very tired when low on iron).
They wil (hopefully) do an INR test. This test which produces a value of '1' for normal blood shows the blood clotting time. People with a high INR - 3, 4 or more are more likely to bleed/Haemorrhage.

A Vitamin K deficiency can cause excessive bruising; the blood does not clot properly. Taking an aspirin a day to ward off heart disease can also increase bruising as it thins the blood.

I've been like that all my life though (bruising). My mother was the same way. I now can get like a bleeding under the skin look (different that and actual bruise). I do take excederin though - that will make you bruise easier too.

It could be happening if you are taking frequent doses of aspirin or ibuprofen.
It could be from a low platelet count, or several other conditions. I would suggest that you go see your physician.
I bruise very easily, too. But I take Celebrex, Aspirin and Ibupofen. Just look at me wrong and I bruise! :-)

My family is very pale skinned and this runs in our family. It may be just that you have very transparent skin. We can see our veins clearly which makes it very easy to bruise. Is it possible that those people have the same situation (easy to see the veins).

Part of it depends on the way the capillary system runs. On some people they are closer to the skin then on others, that is part of the aging process and genetics

You should check with your doc. on that. You could have a low platelet count which could be indicative of a couple of different diseases.
