There are no "good" verses that teach "damnation" and Jesus had no part in condemning anyone or anything...how Godly would that be? You are looking to "convert" people without truth, without heart, without knowing...you look to bring numbers to your congregation through fear...how Godly is this?????

It is the way of the crusades, the powers that be that instill fear instead of love...they teach of a favorite-playing, vengeful, & egotistical God....all of which are not truths...for their own benefits of maintaining their power....this in NOoooooo way was what Jesus was teaching...

Pleeeeease, seek deeper, seek within self, and others will follow if your deeds & life "light" truth for them...this is the way...Never Never Ever put fear into another...fear is the very opposite of love, and love is what you are called to eminate...I wish you wiser thought....

BigPappa,
If I understand your question, there are no verses of Jesus forcing people into believing.

The problems associated with forcing people into a faith can be found in Foxes Book of Martyrs.

Here is an excerpt:
In A.D. 1375, some zealous friends of the Gospel applied to Charles, king of Bohemia, to call an ecumenical Council, for an inquiry into the abuses that had crept into the Church, and to make a full and thorough reformation. The king, not knowing how to proceed, sent to the pope for directions how to act; but the pontiff was so incensed at this affair that his only reply was, "Severely punish those rash and profane heretics." The monarch, accordingly banished every one who had been concerned in the application, and, to oblige the pope, laid a great number of additional restraints upon the religious liberties of the people.

The victims of persecution, however, were not so numerous in Bohemia, until after the burning of John Huss and Jerome of Prague. These two eminent reformers were condemned and executed at the instigation of the pope and his emissaries, as the reader will perceive by the following short sketches of their lives.

First...forcing is not an option. Love is! The way you live your life. You may educate them and speak the truth to them, but remember that free will plays into the whole thing. Even Jesus could not do in Jerusalem what He desired because of the will of the people. Please go back and read what the diciples did...and of course what Jesus did. None of them FORCED anyone. Read a little more about the questions you see here also. Surely you will see that people do not accept having Jesus shoved down their throats well. In fact that is one of the ways that Satan keeps people from Christ! I know your heart and so does He...pray for wisdom in these matters and rely on Christ to guide you as to what you are to say to folks.

Rom 8:1-4
8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

You cannot force anyone to convert. Believe what you want, but why feel the need to shove it down everyone else's throat? It makes me think that you lack confidence in what you believe in.

If you tried hard enough, pretty much every one.

But you can't force people to convert. It's impossible. Not even God can force people to convert. (Well, I suppose He could, but He chooses not to- that whole free will thing.)

You shouldn't try to force people to convert. People have a right to believe what they want and it's rude of you to try to get them to abandon their beliefs for yours. Blessed be.
