worship feel about the immigration debate

You think hypocrites are going into the confessional telling the priest they're hypocrites? You think if they're protestant, they want the pastor reminding them of "what's the log in your eye" and "let he who is without sin cast the first stone?" Remember, this is about the law of the nation, not the law of God.

Otherwise, all the little hypocrites have a nice little service praising God for his goodness and thanking him for the entitlement of "free will" ...it's the license to bash.

Church is for worshiping ,not debating politics. Maybe adding the the problem to prayer request might help though.

The church (bible) says we are supposed to obey the laws of our government doesn't it? As Long as we are not hurting (physically ) or murdering people. So as long as we are not physically harming them while deporting them it is okay. Also though the only time I would agree with Illegal immagration is if their life was in danger (like gonna be killed) in thier country so they fled here. And I actually think there is a law saying if that is the case they can not be deported. Like if America was sending them to a certain death in their country we should allow them to stay. Illegal Immagration is an economic burden on our country that is trillions of dollars in debt as it is.

I honestly couldn't tell ya.. It's a bad subject to bring up out in public. I know many illegals...many many that I have known for awhile.

I have never agreed with their view, and when we hang, the subject's we talk about have nothing to do with immigration...

So, you're probably wondering why I hang with them... Well, they are cousins of a good buddy of mine-- hispanic at that, whom was illegal, that saved my life in Iraq...

...However, I know they are helped out by the govt., I still don't agree with it-- and they know it too. But, Jesus, my buddy saved my life. The least I can do is not report them...

So.. I'm kind of stuck with that one. Whatever happens in November, I'm still placing my vote for what I believe in. My buddy got his green card when he returned to the states from Iraq...No matter what happens later this year, if his cousins and family have to go-- than they have to go, and I'll have to live with missing them.

They are truly wonderful people-- but they are still illegal, and unfortunately, they will have to pay the price if it comes to that. --But, this time, I'm not going to be the one specifically causing it...

You may say voting causes it-- which is true, but 1 vote overall, is 1 in 300 million chances.

We normally don't discuss immigration, but based on the fact that we are to obey the laws of our land I would say we are for legal immigration and against illegal immigration.
