Do some research on what food has carbs in it. Most everything does, though.

As a starting point, I hear trainers and nutritionists say 'cut out the white flour foods.' 100% whole wheat bread instead of white bread, brown rice instead of white rice, spinach pasta instead of traditional pasta. Get the idea. Also stay away from fast foods and anything boxed for the most part. No booze since that's mostly carbs.

well, there's Pria carb select bars and many other products that u can eat?drink on an low carb diet. my mom did it / is doing it and has lost 54 pounds since the end of march without much exercise and without and like jenny craig or anything like that. it is a very efficient diet. it's good to eat a lot of veggies, just stay away from carrots, but squash, zuccini, green beans, salad and many more. remember, no potateos of and kind, but u can eat just about any meat. Good luck. i hope u get the results ur looking for.

Salad and eggs, mostly.

Try South Beach Diet. The first 2 weeks is carb-less, but the rest of the time you simply modify your eating habits. I've been on the diet for around 3 years now and love it.

Some people have a legitimate gene tendency to carry more weight. I don't know if you are one of those individuals, but you do need to cut down on sugars and sweets. You'd be surprised how much junk you're filling yourself with with a few pops a week. Try organic meats, salmon patties, turkey cutlets, lean beaf, and alot of greens (salads with delights like raisins, nuts, honey, etc.). It's up to you, but stay or become active or you'll be putting on healthy fat and still be overweight. You can also try the blood-type diet. It seems to work for my friends and I. Good luck.
