What do you do when you want to have sex before marriage, to control your desire?

I did successfully wait until I was married, and of course it wasn't easy. I found it was easiest to control myself when I avoided certain situations. Avoid laying down together, avoid being alone in the dark, avoid being alone together when you're very tired.
Really, it starts with these easy things. You and your boyfriend need to set some ground rules together of what you will or will not do. Not just "we won't have sex" set some barriers together of how you won't even get to that point where it's an issue.

Set your standards and let each other know where they are, be strong and don't let the other go past your standard! And have respect for each other, and be careful what clothes you wear, both girls & guys! And be careful not to be alone very late when you have a problem with temptation! Double Dates are good, and try to date earlier in the eveing and don't be out past midnight.

Don't let some imaginary thing that has never existed rule your life, you can be moral and good by making the right choices the bible and the Gods were created back 2000 years ago because there were no morals or laws they needed that to get control of the people. We are intelligent humans now to understand you don't put all your thoughts out their for some imaginary God to control you

Don't allow yourself to be in certain situations. If you're careful of the situations you get into, it may be a little easier. Memorize scripture and pray often. Also, hang around girls that have YOUR same values.

it is called selfcontrol. it is one of the fruits of the spirit. God gives you away to get out of it. but run from temptation then you will not have to worry about it.
