I would like to send an email to 72 of my contacts. Is there a way to set it up so that all of their email addresses do not show up in the "To" box? I've recieved bulk emails from other people and the addresses don't show up. I tried to find this answer in the help menu but can't seem to find it.

Send it to all of them under the Bcc (blind carbon copy), and no one will see their addresses. You don't even have to put anything in the To: field when you use Bcc.

Cool.. I learned something new, and I've been using Yapoo mail for 10 years.. didn't know I could leave the to field blank when using the bcc... I always sent a copy to my alternate email so I didn't have to put anybody else's addy in there.;... Imagine that. LOL

I've had to do this before... if you put your OWN email address in the "to" box, then all your friends' addresses in the "bcc" box, they won't show up in the email.

Have you tried putting them in the BCC address field?

BCC...

Ps, if your are forwarding jokes etc... Make sure to cl;ean up the previous sends crap. It cuts down on how long it takes to read the actual message, and it makes it more personal.
