This is an answer to one of my previous questions. Is it the rantings of a lunatic, or is this an actual feeling of the majority of religious persons, in your opinion:

you already said your "unintelligent" thing, and i said your question was "unintelligent" remeber.
Rember m-a-p-s. Like the question before. the BIBLE has been proven so many times. The whole reason you can do this, is America was created under God. All the forefathers believed in Jesus, that's why the 10 commandments are everywhere in court houses and all the old towns. America was created Under GOD. That's why we are the most blessed country in the world. we have more freedoms than anybody. If you dont like this FACT, you can get out of America, and somewhere else

Unfortunately I think it is how a good part of the religious right feel. It's funny I run into adults that believe men have a different amount of ribs than women!
Are they lunatics, uneducated or just plain brainwashed?

As for America having more freedom then anyone else I have to disagree. The American censorship is so far reaching you don't even know when it is being censored. As a Canadian I am able to listen to the radio and hear the actual album recording of the artist and not the radio friendly version, I can choose to watch pornography on TV and I can travel anywhere in the world. Your understanding of freedom is very limited.

As for ALL of your founding fathers being Christian and believing in Jesus, you will need to do a more through background check in to those individuals. G. Washington was a Freemason as well as many of your so revered founds such as Benjamin Franklin and 4 other Presidents MONROE, both ROOSEVELT, TRUMAN. Although it is true that freemasonry is a Christian offshoot is certainly is not this Jesus loving version that your reference quite say's it was.

Too answer his other statement that the Bible has been proven many times over, Yes it is true it has been prove to be a work of plagiarism. Many of the stories with in the Bible have origins in many of the much older religions that have now passed into the history books, but there writings still life. Egypt is an easy place to start with the many resurrection myths within it. The great floods, creation are parts of religions all over the worlds, but they are only metaphors for spiritual rebirths not the Hellenistic view of hard truth. And to all Christians stop claiming the 10 commandments are yours the Jews had them first your just toeing the line.

And before anyone says that as a Freemason that is an offshoot on the Christian religion you believe in Jesus the savior, no they don't. He is a profit. The belief of Freemasonry is of a monolithic God and that’s it. If you want to believe in that other guy go ahead but they do not say he is the son.

You are not the most blessed country on the planet, you are currently the most well off, but that is slowly eroding away as I type this. Powerful nations rise and fall throughout history and arrogance, aggression and religion have been the down fall of all. The longest lasting and most powerful nations on the planet, the Romans and the Egyptians were able to keep there power by letting religion by free to live under there secular rule. Religion stifles the growth of greatness and breeds corruptions.

Ok..if our Forefathers believed in Jesus and God and there being only one true God. Then why did they set up Freedom of Religion. Why did they frown upon a set national religion? The 10 commandments-no matter who you believe or dont believe in are a pretty good set of rules if you think about it..dont screw your neighbors wife...dont kill..honor your mom and dad etc so them being set up in court houses are not surprising if you think about it. We do live in a blessed country sure and we have more freedoms than most-Most people like freedom-in fact all do if you think about it-Our freedom is not based on who we believe in but it is based on a set of laws and statements put forth by people hundreds of years ago who wanted a better life and no monarchy. When George Washington was elected president he didnt want to be called anything that sounded "kingly" or royal. Our country may be set upon religion but that is not all we are and it is not a reason to ask someone to leave it because they dont believe as we do.

You're as immature as the people that pissed you off. Even in public schools, you're not allowed to say or do anything religious unless it's part of the curriculum. But even the pledge says "under god", so we can't deny that America isn't Christian. We get your point but don't tell people to get out of America.

"he is crazy, "america a blessed country"" more freedom than anybody" this is pure ********, im from holland and if there there is a place thats called free its holland, in the states u show yr nipple on tv and u get a huge riot.
in my opinion most rightwing americans are idiots"
Yeah, that's the sad thing but there's nothing to do about it. I plan on moving to Italy maybe later on. I just started taking Italian lessons.

Interesting how "BIBLE", "GOD" and "FACT" are all capitalized in the paragraph.

The writer does indeed believe those three words.

Since they aren't logically able to speak for all of America, I would view them as a ranting lunatic.

This is such an exhasting subject. You believe what you want to belive to get through life, and I'll believe what I want to belive. I'm not a bad person for not having the same beliefs as you, just different. This is the cause of many terrible things happening in this world, why can't we all just get along.

America was created under GOD? Well, where was god when my people were forced to work for free for hundreds of years? Where was GOD when white men were rapping and beating black slaves? Where was GOD when blacks couldn't share equal rights as whites, where is god now when are troops are dying, and immigrants are being treated like s**t? Where is God when millions of gay men and women can't fight in our military of share the same benefits are straight couples? Where was god when Martin Luther King was killed, and JFK? You seem like an uninformed, close minded idiot.

That person is not only rambling in a not-quite making-sense kinda way, he or she is ignorant of America's founding fathers who were not gung-ho Christians in any sense of the word. America was created, mostly, under Deism, which is only a distant cousin (twice removed) of Theism.
