What if they have a family member that has a terminal illness and they try their hardest to find ways to prolong their lives. Would that be going against God's will? Let's say that they feel that God's will was to find something to prolong their family members life, ok that justifies that, but how would someone know God's will? Now the person dies and God says you went against my will and kept him/her alive, enjoy hell, or figuring the person didn't do anything to prolong the family members life, God then tells him, you didn't help him/her and my will was that you help them, enjoy hell..... I say, live life free of religion, and you will live free of contradictions and hypcrasy.

Interesting question and a retorical answer all in one! TO be honest does God speak to us? has he spoken to you? Plus what's roight and who is wrong/ All these questions have mutiple answers, so for me free choice is great but you will proberly end up beign a bum on the street begging for change!

You know deep in your heart where you will go! So righteous people can go to hell but not for the stated above but how they live their life! Most righteous people are actually quite boring and to be honest they have no guarentee of going anywhere!

Live life free or religion, that would be great, but then that's saying live life without rules and it would become anarchy! Be careful what you wish for! Religion is here on earth for a reason and rules are created from this!

I'm not right or righteous or anything spectacular so to be honest live life how you feel it should be!

Jesus came that people might have life and life to the full. If we do anything to help people have that, then we are acting in God's will. God's will is not enacted upon us against ours. If so, this would make God a liar, schizophrenic, and a very hateful God. But the Bible says that he is not a liar. So if there is something we don't understand about God in that regard, our understanding is off. God is a good God.

Hellfire is not a Bible teaching.
God's will is that "all sorts of men be saved"
Jehovah takes no delight in the suffering of the wicked, let alone the upright.
God's purpose for mankind was for them to live forever in perfect health on a paradise earth.Adam and Eve's disobedience put a hic up,so to speak in God's plan.Because of their disobedience and subsequent sin, they lost the gift of perfection and passed on imperfection to all their offspring, namely mankind.
God's original purpose will still be fulfilled in His due time.
To understand the Bible and our Creator better, you need to have a bible study.Jehovah's Witnesses have a clear and thorough understanding of the Holy Scriptures and would be only too happy to conduct a free home bible study with you,and answer any questions you may have.
The contradictions and hypocrisy you speak of is because apostates crept into Christianity and plagued true religion with false teachings and man made doctrines. You couldn't possibly think Jehovah is looking down from Heaven and blessing the perverted priests who condone everything, bless soldiers before they go and kill fellow men just to mention a couple of the many unscriptural things being done in the name of God.
We need Jehovah in our lives. But it is up to each one of us to search for Him and seek the truth of God's Word, the Bible and not just follow along blindly to the false teachings which surround us.

Only the self-righteous, Inshallah.....

A better question might be: how much would you enjoy heaven knowing that God is torturing your friends and loved ones forever and ever because they weren't as devoted or righteous as you were?

Yes even the righteous can go to hell. The only way to heaven is to believe in Jesus Christ. If they believe they go to heaven, and there they to will be judged.

Everyone is going to Hell except, Jesus and Rev. Jim Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church. He's the only one who appears to understand the real nature of Christianity...

Scriptures say "I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor their seed begging for bread". We are already forgiven thru the blood sacrifice of Jesus. His laws are in our hearts. Our mistakes are under his blood.

God says he may forgive any sin, except that you worship others along with him. Whether this is a prophet, stone, tree, sun, moon, monkey, elephant etc.
