I bought a zenith 52 in wide screen. It only lasted 2 years and the repair shop said it wasn't economically feasable to repair. I bought the Sony wega 60" and I am extremely pleased with it. The picture is totally awesome. It also has a anti glare screen. This is a very important feature. Especially if your house has a lot of windows.

Stay away from Zenith or LG. LG is the parent company of Zenith.

you want a plasma. they give you best quality for price (as long as you not playing video games on it, as video games can "burn" into screen.) Sony is not that great.. they are overrated and you are really just paying for the name. I would suggest getting an HDTV that is capable of both 1080i nad 1080p. The i means that its interlaced in case you didnt know. What i would suggest is go into a nice electronic store and check out the plasmas and how they look. Not every tv looks the same and some are ugly. I would go with a Pioneer, hitachi, toshiba. samsung.

I somewhat have a fifteen" demonstrate screen which i play my wii on. the respond is you do not want and larger demonstrate screen, regardless of if that's a lot extra suited with a bigger demonstrate screen, regardless of if it rather is in no way necessary. in case you may handle to pay for a marginally bigger demonstrate screen that's not likely to weigh down the room on your cottage then i could choose for it, the flat displays rather do not soak up all that a lot area, and there are certain to be some good deals around this time of 12 months.

Samsung is quite good, too, think it is also cheaper. I am looking for one myself, but more like 50" I would buy LCD rather than Plasma.
