She loves having dogs over and playing with them and she is great with new things.

Labs are excellent dogs,but are also very energetic dogs, delighted to work and play hard. They need a lot of exercise. Labs are big eaters and need regular exercise and moderate rations to avoid a tendency to become overweight.A Lab may be just a bit too overpowering for your Chow.

She might be to hyper. We have an old pm beagle mix and a young american lab puppy. They are hyper but it seems to make older dogs more playful and loving. Go for it.

No I think English Labs are fine as long as you train it well.

Labs are very calm and loyal and would not be hyper. They are a laid back bred.

i have a small english lab and it is not that hiper it onley gets hiper when u throw a ball with it but it is very loyal i have three and all of them are nice and sweet
