When they are puppies its hard to tell. All puppies look weird you should know this. Theres all kinds of mixes of dogs so you may not be able to tell if your dog has a little bit of a mix or if it is full blooded. You need the papers on this dog if you want to make sure its full blooded.
But I say just love your dog whether its full blooded or not.
I'm loving the names of the mixes of poodles. Like Jackpoos (jack russel terrier + poodle), Labradoodles hehehe (Labrador + poodle), etc. soo cute.
I have an apricot toy poodle. shes a little cutie. shes pretty old now though. About 14 in people years.

Don't know that you necessarily have a "Labradoodle" -- it could be any kind of Poodle mix. Remember that the "papers" or parentage of a purebred puppy is only as reliable as the breeder who bred the litter -- if you bought from an unethical breeder, the dam of the litter may well have been accidentally bred by another dog and the "breeders" chose to register the litter as if their Standard Poodle male had sired it, anyway.
Do you have a contract? This is something you should discuss with your breeder.
ADDED: A "wiry" coat is not indicative of a Labrador, which has a short, harsh coat.

The best way to say is when you went to the breeders home did she have Labs there??
I know Sander poodles have very thick coats to start with and the muzzle dose narrow out a bit but still it is diffent from the smaler poodles. How are you pups jowls? Are they more sagy?

My parents just bred their Golden Retriever to a Standard Poodle and the puppies had golden retriever faces, some with curlier hair than others, but if their wiskers on their face are not curly, them they are probably not full bred poodles. Some of my parents puppies had curly wiskers which is a characteristic of the poodle, while some had straight wiskers from thier mother the retriever. Their coats should be very curly too. Later on, you should notice if they are shedding or not...if they are, then they are not poodles..thats the best I can do for you. Also, see if you can tell any difference with any of the litter mates, do they all have poodle characteristics?

Good GRIEF!!! Sure is easy to tell that you didn't do ANY research!!!
IF the parents ARE standard poodles(PROOF?) then so MUST the PUPS!!!DUH!
Poodles are SUPPOSED to have CRISP coats!!
PUPS ALWAYS have shorter/broader muzzles than adults!!

you should have gotten papers on the puppy, are they ckc or akc? sometimes the ckc's are not always what they seem to be. the akc is more strict about breeds than ckc.i have toy poodles and they are already curly when they are born.and then sometimes after they get their first grooming you can tell even more about what they will look like and the exact color they will be too

poodles do not look like poodles when they are born, they look more like labs, but if the parents are both standard poodles, um hello! they should be poodles.
