on friday i went jogging with my 17 month old. i had her in an instep jogging stroller. all of a sudden my stroller flips over and i go flying over the stroller. It turns out the front tire comes off???? isn't this stroller supposed to be a jogging stroller??? i paid $150 for the thing, is the tire supposed to just come off like that? its not like i was doing 50mph or anything!!! both my 17mth and i got some really bad scrapes and bruises. i call her dr for symptoms of concussion, as she hit her head pretty badly. i have emailed and called the company and have yet to hear from them.
i took pictures of our injuries. my stroller is no longer useable and she is petrified of it. if she were smaller then her 22lb frame, she would have been very seriously hurt! what should i do???
thankyou for your help.

keep on bugging them ,call write email everything you can think of , this should have not happened. maybe call the better business bureau. call some lawyers and see who you can contact about this kinda stuff. Call the store even, something must be done. it could have came out a lot worse then it did, and thank god you both or okay. don't give up this should be brought to their attention so others don't get hurt. good luck !!!!

Please don't sue the company. What you do deserve, though, is a refund since the product did not live up to your expectations. Also, the company should be notified of this incident in case it points to a possible defect in their product. Then other consumers could be aware. A recall might be in order, too.

Did you save your receipt from the stroller purchase? You will probably need this to get the refund, although it might not be absolutely necessary. Be sure to document the date of the accident and if you were seen by a doctor, provide a copy of the report and bill. They might possibly reiumburse you for that as well, but I would not force the issue as accidents do happen even when everyone has the best of intentions.

Best of luck and I hope your daughter is feeling much better soon.

Hi, as a mother of 2 I can completley sympathize with you. This must have been a traumatic event for BOTH of you.
If I were you, I would continue on calling, and emailing the company of this "jogging stroller". Not only to complain about what happened, but mabye there is something wrong with all these specific strollers, and they may need to be recalled. You might be able to help bring up a very important topic to this company, and they may need to recall these strollers so that this does not happen to someone again.
I hope your daughter is doing okay. =) I hope YOU are doing okay.. =)
Let me know what happens.

Sincerely,
Amanda, Alexis 3 1/2 years, and Logan 20 months

I would definitely file a law suit against the company for a defective item. Keep the pictures of the injuries and if you took any pictures of the stroller keep them too so you have proof of what happened to the stroller.

Because she is still fairly young, you should visit her doctor for a consultation, not just phoning in. Send a letter to the company along with photos of both of your injuries, and call them again. Say you want a refund. Don't settle for having them fix the stroller; your baby is too scared to enjoy it now. Send in a complaint as well as a request for refund.

Keep bugging the company and call the store you bought the stroller from. They could tell you who to contact as well about saftey concerns.

Take PICTURES of the stroller and your (and your daughters) injuries in case you consult a lawyer. Keep all hospital bills and such.

That is a pretty big mistake for them to make. You should definitely contact a lawyer. Make sure you get an attourney through referal and not the yellow pages or your local phone directory. They are responsible for that angd you should make it known immediately before another child is seriously injured. Im happy that you two are ok though. That is really scary.

Continue to call them. If still no answer, call an attorney. Good for you for documenting all this and taking pictures. Very smart on your part. Hope you and baby are better. Good luck.
