I live far away from my hometown where my crush lives. I'm planning to go back soon and tell her that I really like her. What kind of gift should I give to her before I tell? Not something really expensive or too cheap. NOT something that'll express how I feel either. Help me out?

Don't give her anything. Not yet at least. Giving girls a gift before you date them almost always freaks them out. The best thing you can do is to show her a good time, and a good time shouldn't require you buying her anything. Save the gift giving for the relationship. Besides, you don't want to embarrass yourself by getting her a gift, and then find out she might not be interested in you like that do you?
Take it from me, she'll appreciate your company more if she doesn't feel like you're trying to buy her affection. (By the way, I'm glad to see a question on here that was actually well thought out before asked, so if you've got more, feel free to ask me.)

If you 2 are already friends & you want to give her something without telling her exactly how you feel, you need to give her something personal. Not something cheesy like chocolates or stuffed animals.
Maybe a really cute picture of the 2 of you in a nice frame. Or pay attention to her interests. If she's into things like music, maybe get her tickets to a concert. Or if she's into some sort of sport, tickets to that.
As much as we women like to receive gifts, they mean so much more when there's thought put into it.

The gift isnt about gettin smthin expensive or smthin cheap , but it must be smthin from ur heart , and if she really like u she will like anythin u get 4 her even it was smthin with $ 1 it will be precious 4 her .

There is a major difference between crush, like, and love! Maybe just out to a nice lunch or dinner to decide how you really feel before setting yourself up for disappointment or rejection...besides..long distance relationships are really hard.
