well i am 18 and i am shopping for my 1st car. almost every older buick has low miles due to old people and i think that is a good thing.

i think so . I have owned a lot of Buicks and I've taken them all over 150 K. I currently own a 1992 Roadmaster wagon w/213 K on it . I'm considering doing some body work and going for 300 K

I would say that 90% of Buicks are being driven by old people. If you fit that category, a Buick is for you. If you want something that will last a long time and hold it's resale value, get a Toyota or Lexus. If costs less to own and drive Lexus vehicles over 12-15 years than it costs to drive Buicks. They cost more up front, but the resale value is so much better as to be the source of a great story.

Right now I have a 1985 Buick, and I drive it every day to work and back. It has about 184,000 miles on it and it starts and runs great. I think my next car will be a Buick, unless the price of gas gets any higher. My Buick gets 28 mpg.

i had a buick regal, and hit a patch of ice on the road and ended up in a river (the black river in ohio) anyway the car sat in freezing water for 8 hours when I finally got it pulled out i turned the key it fired up and i was able to drive it home, very cold but ran like nothing had happened. Id say yes they are great cars.

buicks are like any other car, they will last as long as you take care of them.

Depends on how old the car is and how it's being driven. As long as you give regular maintanence and don't abuse the car then most cars will last many years.

Are you buying a brand new one? IN general though, any car that can fly to the moon is pretty reliable.

that's good logic. and the oldsters probably weren't hotfooting, and probably changed the oil when they were supposed to and attended to other maintenance. thanks for buying American.
