At your age you need to get your parents and Dr. involved. You could hurt yourself by going on a drastic diet. You are growing right now and could be on the verge of a growth spurt right now and those extra pounds will look fine on a taller frame. You can always cut out junk food and ride a bike or shoot hoops or skate board or roller blade without parents and Dr. Exercise and less calories is the formula to lose weight. Good luck.

Just eat moderatley and don't eat junk food. Exercise at least three times a week for an hour. Don't start out trying to run two or three miles either. Start jogging and whenever you get tired just start walking. When you get your second wind then start jogging again. You don't even have to lift weights or anything like that just do mostly cardio exercises like jogging, sit-ups, leg lifts, etc. Stick with it and don't skip any days and you'll notice a big differance. You will have a hell of alot more energy and those pounds will slowly go away. It won't happen in one week so don't get discouraged. Good luck, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!

since you are only 11, your body is still growing, so don't worry about being "fat". the best way to lose weigth is to get rid of unnessary cravings by having a glass a ice cold water (since water has 0 calories, have all you want) and the cravings will be gone in 10 minutes. find a hobby or sport to take your mind off food and get in shape as well. keep in mind that your daily intake should be around 2500-3000, so try to fit your meals inbetween there. u should control urself concerning food. If u want to become slim n beautiful n be healthy u have to make an effort not to eak junk food. Only u can help urself. Just imagine how sweet u will be looking if u do some sacrifice. All the best to u n i hope u will eat only healthy food, do lots of exercises n control the amount u eat.

You could still lose wait and eat the food you love, but instead of eating a big meals, cut it down. Eat half of what you would usually eat. Also, insteads of drinking soda and juices try drinking lots of water. That will help you lose weight faster and try going outs for a walk or do some jogging and that will help out. Well, for 5'3'' it would be good to be around 115-130 lbs. You can't really lose 40 lbs. before school realistically, so 10 lbs. per month sounds like a good plan.
Swimming and running are great exercises. And eat fruits & veges. more than any other food you eat. To lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume.

honey, first of all, stop thinking these bad thoughts about urself. second, have u talked to ur parents about how u feel?
maybe get an "exercise buddy", but try to make the exercise something u enjoy, perhaps swimming, bike riding, walking...so it doesn't really "feel" like exercise. try to be conscious about portion control. be SURE to eat a good breakfast everyday, this will help avoid making poor choices when ur really hungry.

there is no magic cure. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. So watch your portion size and get your body moving.
