We are planning a future together, I have 2 children, he has one... working on a family. The only problem is this one girl he has been friends with a long time always calls him, I know she flirts with him and I really would like her to just butt out. I have talked to him about it and he says he is not going to cut her out of his life, they are just friends and I need to get over it. But he only talks to her when I am not home, or when he is not home (on his cell phone) What should I do? I am very upset at this woman who is moving in on our relationship- we have had many fights about her! HELP!

you should trust him. if he says they're just friends then believe him. if you don't believe him then you both have trust issues you need to work out. he probably only talks to her when you're not around because of the way you react.

you need to stop acting so jealous however it is good that you are because "close friends" usually get too into the family and could and possibly destroy a marriage. Sit down with your husband and talk I mean seriously talk don't let him shrugg you off. Ask him why does he talk to her only when you are not around. Set him straight.

Have him invite her to your home for dinner with you and your bf. Ask her to bring a date. Just the four of you. After she accepts, phone her to ask if anyone has any food allergies (you are being thoughtful). Be nice. Don't drink, because you don't want to turn ugly. If he refuses, if he is unwilling to share his life and friends with you, the future is all secrets and trouble.. Who know, maybe you will all become friends!
