It's just one of many creation stories.

The bible is a good book of moral lessons and allegorical stories. It contradicts itself in many places. Don't look for logic or historical accuracy in a book based on faith.

It appears that along with Adam and Eve many other people were created at the same time which the Bible really doesn't like to talk about. This is one of the many things I got in trouble for at Sunday School--this very question.
Personally I think Mrs. Cain was probably an alien of some type if indeed it did happen like in the Bible, which we all know it didn't. It's just a metaphor for evolution.

Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men.

Obviously there were other beings on the planet.
Also the bioble doesn't speak of it but a few places.
Adam had a wife named Lillith who could also have had children since she came before Eve.

It appears so. Incest wasn't forbidden until the time of Moses, when mutations in the genetic code required it.

it was his mommy....see how incest is wrong now so it's ok for people to change to bible to say there were other people there. god only created adam and eve so where did these other people come from...or was it just one of the convenient little oops things in the bible

that is a mystery of the bible - its does not really say - but there seems to be these other people who were there at the time - the bible does give information that there were others.
