Converting to a religion where homicide, torture and the abuse of women physically and intellectually up to but not limited to the quaint Islamic custom of stoning them to death...is still practiced and encouraged?
It's seems to be more like, "Sociopathic" and "Psychotic" rather than some devinely inspired behavior.
Just ask Jill Carroll...hostage for 82 days what she thinks about her Muslim hosts....deeeeeelightful religion!
Or the families of those innocents beheaded with a pen knife, not in one fell swoop but in slow back and forth sawing, slicing cuts...truly unplifting!
All the Muslim responses herein will be either, denial, or they actually defend such horrific behavior or cite past bad behavior to justify even worse behavior or they will say it's only commited by a misguided few !!!!

Just look at the (some unintellible) verbose rants posted by "Muslims" herein...that alone proves the point...one is weary about all this political correctnes and Isalm is propagated myth that Isalm is synonomous with peace!
Violence based on blind generational hatred for Jews and Americans is INSANE!

I was a hostage for 42 years as I could not speak of the crimes committed against me and my family by Islam and Islamists.
I am even today fearful of these vile and cruel people who force us to tolerate them and give them rights and impose on our homes as though we have no rights at all. These islamists live in free societies claiming rights and citizenships where they do not belong. Then one is asked to tolerate them in daily life too.
I have never seen so much cruelty done to one family as they have done to me and mine.
4 generations of my family have been severely abused by these so called religious and peaceful people. The abuse does not only come from the terrorists. It comes from your neighbours and people you consider your friends, those who live in common society.
They taught me sex when I was a tiny little girl of about six years and then passed it on from one to the other. I was abducted in my teens, the belt used on me if I did not obey, and made to forget my family, my culture, tradition and religion.
When I left this abusive society, I faced it even more on television and media and daily life. I felt raped everytime I found these terrorists are given a better life then mine by so called human rights protectors.
I looked at every corner of my home and found they had used force to make their presence known by violent ways.
You talk of 82 days. I am talking of 42 years and 4 generations.
Who is going to do justice? Who is going to bring my trust back in humanity and who is going to stand up and be counted against these people as a whole?
Each and every muslim is a terrorist and you have to see it with open eyes, not political correctness.
Political correctness brings about human rights violations.

There is no question of justifying or defending horrific behavior. I have already answered a similar question. Dr. Albert must be knowing that this culture developed after Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Whose interest was involved is known to every body. I am proud to be Muslim. Our religion preach policy of co-existence. I am living in a Muslim country. Our President has escaped unhurt several times. Our General has similar experience. The attacks were well planned and only God saved them. Religious people are worst affected. Worship places are attacked. Several religious scholars are victims. In a ceremony in connection with the birth of Holy Prophet suicide bomber killed scholars en-block.

Anyone who believes in God, would never convert to Islam. Especially with what I have heard about it.
You should listen to Irvin Baxter's Religion and Politics on (I won't give the full site, so I'm not "spamming" anyone) endtime.com
He has found a clearer interpretation of the "Pale" horse mentioned in Revelation, and it seems to describe Islam. You should check it out. I can't remember which broadcast it was, either July 18th, or July 19th. Both are good. Just go to Broadcast Archives and search July 2006 and they will all come up.

Allah is a demi-god, not the same as Jehovah Jirah El Shaddai the God of the Bible. Neither in origin nor in character is Allah even similar.
Deut 32:17
"They sacrificed to demons, which are not God—
gods they had not known,
gods that recently appeared,
gods your fathers did not fear."
Galatians 5:19
"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."

Religion, any religion, plays the role of attire in which people appear or show. So some people convert to a certain religion not only because of their belief, faith, knowledge, satisfaction or convince but also for other reasons. They convert either because of temptation to change "fashion" or because they want experience the religion themselves.

Islam is a beautiful religion. I am sorry that you are ignorant.
You are preaching hate. You're very ignorant and i should advise you to stop embarrassing yourself in front of those who ACTUALLY study world affairs. You are lazy and should study on your own and with an open mind. You are afraid t be open because you will see how ignorant and wrong you are.

Bullsh*t, not everyone in America agrees.
You are correct when you say that only a few (compared to the total number of Muslims in the world) do this. Actually they are not Muslims, they only say they are. Muslims are NOT to commit murder. If they kill one person, it's as if they kill all of humanity. They are not to "kill the infidel" unless it's in combat. God told the Muslims to kill the infidel <> they are in war. Of course they are to kill in that situation, otherwise they would be killed. It's the way of war. DUHHH.
Women are to be treated like queens in Islam. They share zero % of household financial responsibilities, while the man is 100% responsible for household financial responsibilities. Before Islam, women were treated as property, sometimes as chattel. In the Christian, world, for centuries, it was debated whether or not women had a soul. However, in Islam, women were given the rights to their own identity (they don't have to change their last names when they marry), to inheritance, to keeping her own money, to owning property, to divorce, to education, to vote, to marry or not and to marry a man of her choosing, she doesn't have to work, and in some schools of thought, it is believed that she isn't even responsible for doing housework.
Before Islam, these rights were officially given to women. Muslim women were given these rights centuries before "modern" Western women were.
MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS. Let me repeat that, MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS. Terrorists are terrorists. It's beyond awful that some terrorists they're Muslim, and when they do their drama, people will say that violence = Islam. TERRORISTS ARE NOT PEOPLE OF GOD. Terrorists pervert God's religions.. groups like Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, etc, they pervert God's word and twist it to fit their own agenda. So do the IRA and KKK, and let's not forget Tim McVeigh. These people were/are NOT CHRISTIAN. THEY WERE/ARE TERRORISTS. There is nothing Godly about their organizations. What if people were to say look, Christians are terrorists too. Does that mean that Christianity = terrorism? Of course not.
Terrorists are not God's people. Period.

FEAR and verbally bashing people........kind of like you

why would any body convert to any religion? Because the united states was founded by people who didn't like being forced to worship in a manner that did not suit them.so be it islam, catholicism, jewish, christian whatever,no matter what a religions belief, they can do what they want and i belive that you can't be in your right mind and convert to any religion.
btw check out info on the crusades.the catholics killed in the name of their god and tried to force their religion on them.they found the moors were more sophisticated in their healthcare and they were a very loyal people. not all muslims believe the same way just as all christians do not believe the same way and that generalization is unfair

Their religion does not teach them or ask them to do any such thing. I highly doubt the terrorists are truly "religious" people. They, like any other madman, make excuses for their behavior. The terrorists happen to use religion as their excuse, claiming that God tells them to do these things. It's just like that nutball in Texas, David Koresh. He had people following him in the name of "religion" and convinced them to kill themselves. To knock the entire Muslim religion is wrong, just as it's wrong to knock Christianity for David Koresh's acts.
Yes, THE TERRORISTS are evil and disgusting, but not all Muslim people are. Hitler was "influenced" in his young life by a Christian man. HE was evil and disgusting, but not all Christians are. People who lead these power-hungry lives are not right in their minds, literally. They have severe psychological problems; and it has nothing to do with thier religion. It's all stuff they conjur up in twisted and sick ways.
I beg to differ, but not ALL Americans believe that Muslims are all evil. Those of us who can see things logically know that not all Muslims are evil. The terrorists are liars, they do not learn these things from their Bible, they learn it in their own sick minds. Not all Americans are as closed minded to this as others.
