It is said a possesed soul is one taken over by demons, or evil spirits. if you believe we all have souls, and an evil person may inhabit a person, and sending there soul to a place of limbo, where the evil soul will inhabit your body and cause you to do wrongful things. Of course, I believe one can only be possesed only if you believe it. Just like trinkits of faith, they can only work if you believe in them.

not sure, but if i understand the question, I guess it would mean that one chooses opey and even esscalte what ever demons they believe are possesing them.
