Hate is a personal choice. Good and evil can not tolerate each other so to love one is to hate the other, they are completely incompatible.

John 3:16-20
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil.

Romans 1:28-31
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

People who hate Christians do so because Christians are often smug and quite certain they are right - given the subject matter that would be cause enough but most Christians are also quite pushy and wont let the issue lay.

Its not just christianity which is a way of life for people. People fear what they do not understand and that can turn into hatred, christians are no exception to this rule.

When Adam was busy running around with the animals, naming them, Satan found Eve alone. Since angels are ethereal beings, as they were banished to earth, they succumbed to the laws of the earth. Similarly when we go to outer space we succumb to the laws of outer space. We float. They arrived on earth, a rich germinating statio, that draws the qualities of all surrounding planets. When "Eros" from Mercury released her "vibes" Satan then realized why the male animals were rushing to the female animals and he introduced Eve to "carnal knowledge." Since our spirits feed our personalities, we who try to maintain God's spiritual qualities--through the examples of His son, display those qualities unless we fall into Satan's traps. History has shown that the energy of Mercury is still strong; so with every disobedient "penetration" --no pun intended, we manifest the personalities of the source of our penetration. Your challenge is to ignore the flotsam and jetsam and swim to the top of the heap. The good news is that you can access the pierced "hand" of the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah.

The creation story is about man being born evil or "void" and "empty" and having to be reformed and regenerated by the Lord. Christian theology that is worth anything states that man is born evil - not good.

I think it's defense more than anything. It's easier to live a sinful life than to live by God's word and truth. They don't want to acknowledge the fact they could spend the rest of eternity in hell. The truth hurts.

did i get that right? you are so much better than the others?
that way of thinking implies a lot of hate...

oh and give us all a thumbs-down because you don't want to hear what people have to say to your statement? how old are you?

now ultimate love would mean that you give me the 10 points for best answer - because remember: love your enemy (maybe he's got to tell you something that you yourself wouldn't have arrived to think about without someone telling you)

hating is alot easier because to love unconditionally takes effort and entail a whole lot of other feeling and actions whereas to hate just involves hate its much simpler to achieve

I agree with sahm2boys. And will add that Jesus himself said that Christians will be persecuted in his name. Persecution does not necessarily involve physical torture, it could be as simple as someone hating you because of your beliefs.
