don't know what shake and bake!!

I use packets of dry stuffing mix, dip your chicken in flour, then egg and then roll it in the stuffing mix. Drizzle with a little oil and bake in the oven til crispy (About 20 minutes for breasts)

12 Ritz crackers (regular size)
1/2 tsp. paprika or seasoned salt
1 lb. chicken drumsticks (about 6)
2 eggs, beaten

(Good for children to make with adult supervision.)
Crush crackers into fine crumbs. Mix paprika or seasoned salt with crumbs. Wash drumsticks, skin if desired. Dip chicken into eggs and roll in cracker crumbs, coating well. Arrange drumsticks in a row on a 12 x 8 microwave safe dish (use a bacon rack if you have one). Place thicker parts to the outside. Cover with wax paper. Cook in microwave on high 7-8 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Rotate dish 1/2 way through cooking. Let stand 2 minutes before serving. 2-3 servings.
OR
1/2 c. butter
16 chicken drumsticks
Salt and pepper (I use garlic salt)
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. water
Packaged potato flakes

Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan. Season drumsticks. Mix egg and water together in a shallow pan. Dip drumsticks in egg mixture and then roll them in potato flakes. Place them in the baking pan and bake for one hour at 300 degrees. Turn drumsticks once during baking.

I have a few more, but theese are very easy. email and i will gladly swap a few glazed drumsticks Shake and bake is very good, but if you have this stuff on hand you can add what ever seasoning you want. I also dice up potatoes just wash and dice no peeling and coat with the seasoning.. For veggies with this meal I try to keep non running veggies. like something with milk. So we make a salad as a family or Some carrots glazed w brown sugar and butter or butter and fresh herbs the best depending on what you have made for seasoning add ins.

You have the best idea--shake and bake. Serve with anything ... macaroni, scalloped potatoes, or anything like that is extremely easy. Or you could be more creative ... try www.allrecipes.com
