I stopped my birth control and have had my period 3 times in a month. Is that common when you stop your birth control pills?

Depends on what kind of birth control pills you were on. But yes, it can put your cycle out of whack until your body readjust to not having all of those extra hormone running around anymore. I've been off birth control pills for about 7 months now and my cycle still isn't quite right, but I never had a period three times in one month. I had mid month spotting a couple of times. If you are that worried about it I would discuss it with your doctor.

I was on birth control to regulate my period then my husband and I decided to have a baby I got off birth control and my period were all messed up. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant then I got back on the pills for 2 months then I stopped the next month I got pregnant. When people ask me how I got pregnant I tell them "birth control pills"

Yes it is common and aggravating. When I got off my birth control, I didn't have a period for 4-5 months at a time. Luckily, I was celibate so I didn't have to worry about being pregnant but it still bothered me. When I was younger, I experienced the frequent periods as you described. It sucks. When I went to the doctor, I was told that my hormones were out of whack and that it would take time for them to get back on track.

I have never heard of that, and never had it happen to me. I would call the doctor who prescribed the pills to you.
