doesn't work like that, otherwise how do you explain something started out good and turn out bad? your punishment? the devil? everything happens for a reason, if we pay attention to the details then often we could have predicted the ultimate out come... much like we all know drinking hot water will burn your tongue, but somethings in lifes are just a bit more complicated than that.

Things that are bad to us, are lessons from God. The devil lurks in all corners of the earth and is powerful, but just because something bad happens doesn't mean you aren't suppose to take the lesson and turn it into the useful. The devil will try and destroy you my friend. Don't let him. Cast him out. If you are a person of faith and have accepted Jesus Christ, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY to command anything..

I would guess to say that God was working to teach you a lesson. All thing come from God that strengthen, it may be hard in the begiinning but as you daw it gets better if we follow the Lord. He is not here to make us suffer but hard times have to come to sometimes get our attention, And then of course it could originally have been a choice that we made that led to the problem and God had to get us back on track again. Whichever it shows that He is always there for us.

Nobody sent it. It's not like there's a factory of bad events that get sent out to people, and if there's a strike bad things stop happening. YOU are responsible for making it better, through your actions (and for that you should be proud). If you did nothing but pray and didn't take action to resolve whatever it was that happened to you, you would have not turned it into something good. Credit God if you like, but without your actions, you would not have been responsible for turning it into something good, and I daresay it would not have turned into something good at all.

God doesn't take part in evil but God can use evil as an example as to what good is.
You should read Divine Providence by Swedenborg which describes how a God that is Love governs the universe.

A lot of times our faith is tested through different trials and tribulations. It is up to us to stand strong and pray for guidance in situations. Our lives are always what we make of it. I personally try to live everyday as though it were my last and take the bad and use it to my advantage. By this I mean what the situation has done to me positively. Has it made me or broke me? I always believe that what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger!!!

There is nothing that happens that God does not know. God allow things to happen in our live in order for Him to receive the glory and for us to be drawn closer to Him, while learning to be the children that He wants us to be. God is all knowing and He orders His children's steps.... The prbl is "free will" do we allow ourselves to be lead of God or do we do our own thing.... God suggested Job to Satan.... because God knew Job and I believe that through Jobs trials his faith was being increased and strengthened while other around Job also was receiving a lesson in going through hard time being faithful and being restored .... Nevertheless all God

I agree, God doesn't take part in evil but remember he allowed the devil to tempt Jesus, I guess it's pretty much the same - then he helps us through it to become better and stronger than we were!

From what you told us it could have been something you brought onto yourself. Men don't need Satan to get into trouble we do a good job doing that all on our own. A lot of the time it does require God to get us out of it and make it into something positive....Jim
