Depending on how old the recipe is Large was 120z the original package of cool whip was 8 oz the next one was 12 oz then later on through the year the carton kept getting bigger and bigger So if it is a old recipe go with 12 oz or 16 oz

It means a large plastic tub of Cool Whip Topping that is in the cooler section of your food store. It will cover the top of a regular cake etc. You can ask for help at the store and they will show you where to find it. I don't remeber the wieght. Sorry

if you go to the frozen food section of your local supermarket, near the ice cream section, you will find the cool whip (which is a brand) and you will see small and large cartons. go for the large one. i dont know the ounces but believe me, you dont have much to chose from.
