Just read an article on the BBC about CB radios. I'm wondering if anyone still uses them? If so, what for and where?

dont know about on the other side of the pond, but most
truck drivers have them for directions and info or good old
entertainment...channel 19 is better than comedy central..
cb radio was the internet of the 1970's out here.

last i knew aussie long distance truck drivers use them all the time. sometimes they are hundreds of kilometeres from the nearest roadhouse so they can keep in touch with what to look out for (like drunk chics flashing their **** to truck drivers lol)
